Condolence From: Catherine Richards
Condolence: My heartfelt condolences to Aunt Aileen and Joanne and family on Fred's passing. Fred was a person who demonstrated great resilience, persistent hope in times of challenge, and a deep, abiding and loyal love of his wonderful parents, Aileen and the late, Bill Hawes; his brother, the late Billy Hawes; his sisters, the late Cherie (Hawes) Kennedy and Joanne (Hawes) Lewis; and his three beautiful nieces, Joanne's daughters, Taylor, Alexandra and Rebecca. Fred's love for his family is legendary. He also treasured his dear friends, many of whom were lifelong companions. Fred loved music from all genres, but most especially appreciated his mother, Aileen's operatic soprano voice - her talent was "unmatched" he would often proclaim and he was right! He also had a deep reverence for his father, Bill and marveled at his extraordinary knowledge and extensive collection of classical and opera music. Fred loved to share laughter and good times with people and he was, on more than a few occasions, the life of the party! He simply loved being with good people and enjoyed hearing about how their lives were going. His generosity of spirit and his almost child-like wonder of the world made Fred so endearing to many people who loved him, including me. He will be deeply missed. Rest in heavenly peace, sweet Fred. You are surrounded by Angels and reunited with your loved ones whom I know you missed so intensely and for so long. Peace is yours now. Lovingly, Cathy xo
