Obituary for Nancy Panter

Nancy Panter (nee Ashcroft) Aged 92 -
Peacefully, at Brampton Civic Hospital, March 10th, 2017
Last of her siblings, she was pre-deceased in 1987 by husband John (Jack), more recently by companion Vernon Saunders. Survived by children John, Alice, and Bill (Judi), by sister-in-law Anne Panter McCuaig and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Worked 40 years in dental offices, particularly with Dr Doug Elmhirst and then the Ontario Dental Association. Long active in Royal Canadian Legion Br. 217 then Br. 3. Avid knitter, puzzler, player of darts, scrabble, and euchre. Thanks to the many staff at Woodhall Park and at Brampton Civic who helped lighten the recent years, particularly in palliative care. Visitation will be held at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave, Toronto, at 11:00 on Thursday, March 16th, followed by service at noon. Reception afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations to Metro Toronto Legion Village, would be appreciated at 59 Lawson Rd, Scarborough M1C 2J1.
