Helen Cecelia Bowie ( nee: O’Leary )

On the morning of February 13th , 2018, Helen died peacefully at home in Mimico. She was in her 98th year. Beloved wife of Roderick (March 18th, 1982).

Loving mother of Peter (Wendy), John (Jackie), Reilly (at home) and Joseph (Diane). Beloved Grandma to Carrie (Chris Clark), Ryan, Jordan, Jennane, Denis, Graham, Reilly, Taylor, Connor and Haley. Special, beloved Great Grandma to Tyler and Emma Clark who had such special times with her watching Let’s Make a Deal.

Helen was the last from this generation of her family, predeceased by Anna Casey, Camilla, Marie Burkart, Joseph, Leonard, Denise Borg, Rose, Father Reilly, Isaleen Bowie and Patrick. Beloved sister-in-law to Kay, Mary, Sister Margaret, Georgina, John, Lachlan, Father Jim and Teresa.

Thank you to all of Mom’s network of Mimico friends and neighbours for their acts of kindness and support over the years.

Resting at the G. H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke on Thursday, February 15th , 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leo’s Church, 277 Royal York Rd., on Friday, February 16th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Assumption Cemetery.
