Obituary for Angeliki Kourkoulakou

On Sunday, June 3, 2018, we lost one of the most beautiful people on earth. We lost one of God’s prototypes of kindness, forgiveness and love.
We lost our mother, Angeliki Kourkoulakou.

Born in Kato Klitoria in Greece on November 22, 1930, Angeliki (meaning angel-like), Kourkoulakou, youngest child to Christo and Paraskevi Tsami, became the epitome of love and giving.

Angeliki leaves behind her “o Stafanos mou” beloved son Stefanos, her "best friend and rock" daughter Daisy, her adored grandchildren “to pedi mou” Angelika (Angelikoula), “to Josefaki mas” Jojo Paraskevas, and her “he is the best boy” son-in-law Adam.

Her extended family and friends loved her as she was a mother, a friend, an aunt, a cousin, a confidant, and the brightest ray of sunshine. Her love for people went beyond what most people can fathom.

There are no words to describe the profound sorrow in our hearts. We give thanks to God for letting us have her for 87 years and for taking her peacefully and painlessly in her sleep. We also thank our family and friends for all their love and support during this time.
