Condolence: We were shocked and saddened upon learning of Don's passing!Don was a dear friend of my parents, Frank and Rita Browne, and stood as best man at their wedding. We were aware that Don had been ill yet we were unaware of his passing until today. Frank, Rita and all the Browne's will miss him greatly!!

Condolence: I first met Don when I joined Canada Trust in 1948. We were both in the Corporate Trust Dept. Our friendship grew over the next 25 years and we shared many terrific times together. Although I transferred to a different trust operation we continued to work in the same building until our retirements. The friendship continued after we retired and only ended with his passing. He was a wonderful person and I will miss him greatly.

Condolence From: Warren Elliott
Condolence: Many fond memories from our time at Canada Trust starting when I first Don in Edmonton Canada Trust Branch during Klondike Days. Don was in Edmonton on Corporate Trust business and was staying with his sister who would not let Don leave her home to come to the Canada Trust Branch unless Don was dressed in Klondike attire. He arrived in a satin gamblers' vest and top hat; wish I had a photo. Da
