Condolences

Condolence From: Jessica Crawford
Condolence: I remember chatting with Mary about mutual Scots friends, and her very open kindness in speaking about them and others. Moira & family, I am sorry for your loss, but I feel enriched by knowing her briefly, in our church meetings. Rest in peace, Mary.

Condolence From: Morag Paterson
Condolence: With fondest and loving memories, over as long as I can remember, of lovely Mary - my god-mother. I was born just before her departure from Scotland for Canada (I am now 61) .... and we met many times over the years in Jamaica and Paris and of course in Scotland... but never - until early last year - in Canada. Whilst she was already 'fading', it was very special to spend time with her, and talk out loud, and remember . and feel a strong hand-hold which for me meant she knew I was there.... I am grateful for this, and that my brother Ali had also visited a couple of times over the last few years, meeting her and Moira and family .... May you know rest in peace, dear Mary. We remain connected in spirit. With love and peace, Morag, Ali and Pat and Norman Paterson.

Condolence: My deepest condolences to the whole family,, especially to you Moira and your children jeany and Kyle at this difficult time. How does anyone describes aunty Mary. Aunty Mary was like a second mother to me and all of the people she had met, with her smile and good advices always. She was a lady with a capital L. She was loved by sooo many of us. I will miss her so very much. God rest her soul. I was blessed to have met. Rest In Peace Aunty Mary Voula

Condolence: What a special lady who made an impact on all who met her. We have fond memories of our time at the cottage with the Korus family, including Aunt Mary. Although her final years took away her ability to travel to the cottage, I believe her presence will remain there to be enjoyed by those who knew her. A special lady who left a stamp on many and I’m sure growing up around Aunt Mary was of benefit to those lucky people. Rest in peace.

Condolence: How does one start to describe an aunt that wasn't an aunt that was always an aunt to everyone who wasn't a niece or nephew but was Aunty Mary who loved everyone that Moira and Stefan thought worthy of bringing home to meet Aunty Mary. That will make sense to all who were the pseudo nieces and newhews I'm sure. Aunty Mary you have loved, mentored, guided and occasionally chastised so many people. I wish you peace in your everlasting sleep and cherished memories for those of us lucky enough to spend time with you in the living years. Xxx Pauline
