Inglis, Kenneth Breese

Passed away peacefully on January 13, 2007 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Jane (McCormick), loving father of Pam and Peter (Cathie) and dear brother to Bill. Proud grandfather of Bryan and Craig. Ken will be sadly missed and livingly remembered by all his family and friends. Ken was born on October 29, 1922 in Owen Sound. He served as a Flight Lieutenant inWorld War II, piloting 30 sorties while based in England. Ken returned to earn a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Toronto in 1949. He joined Great West Life Assurance Co. in 1952 where he was a loyal employee for 54 years. Many of his fondest memories come from his summers in Port Elgin. A memorial service to celebrate Ken’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday January 16 in Islington United Church, 25 Burnhamthorpe Road (Burnhamthorpe and Dundas St. W.) Visitation at 1 p.m. and reception to follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
