Edna (Jean) Hill, February 4, 1920 to November 24, 2017, predeceased by husbands Frederick Hill and Thomas Strachan, loving mother to Allan, James (Barbara) and Dennis (Susan), grandmother of Jeremy, Leanne, Thomas John and William, great-grandmother of Braydon, Darren, Genevieve and Jasper. Jean was a long time employee of the Toronto Star and a member of the 25 year club. A decorated Veteran, Jean volunteered her time to the Pink Aux, Etobicoke Food Bank and numerous Church activities. Viewing to be held at Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Etobicoke on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Funeral to be held at Hogle Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Many thanks to the staff at Schlegel Long Term Care (Erinview) for the care and attention given for the past many years.
