Hilda Irma Schaeffer -
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Jacob for 58 years. Loving mother of Bernie and his wife Melissa. Dear Omi of Jack. Sister of Irene, Leo, and Oscar. Godmother of Karen. Hilda came to Canada in 1952 from Germany. Hilda enjoyed participating in various groups of Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved her family and will be sadly missed. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke. Funeral Service on Monday at 11 a.m. at Martin Luther Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2379 Lakeshore Blvd. W., Etobicoke. Reception to follow in church hall. If desired donations to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Foundation would be appreciated.
