Obituary for Shirley Tophen (Cooper)

With heavy hearts the family of Shirley Tophen is saddened to report her passing at Toronto Western Hospital on February 11, 2019, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Tony Tophen. Survived by her brother-in-law Bill Tophen (Barbara). Predeceased by sister Lillian O’Connor, brothers Percy Adams, Keith, Cyril, Eugene, and Grant Cooper. Loved and sadly missed by nieces Sharon Cooper and Carol Bentley and nephews Dave and Larry Cooper and their families. Our deepest thanks to the Queen West Public Health Clinic and to the many dear neighbours and friends who took such good care of Shirley on a daily basis.
An informal celebration of life will be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home on Saturday, February 16th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
