Esterina (Altieri) Miranda, was born Dec 31, 1933 in Piedimonte Matese Caserta, Italy. Passed away on Oct 31, 2019 at Mississauga Trillium Hospital with her children by her side after a lengthy battle with cancer. Lived a life filled with the love of her family to the very end. Rest now Mamma that pain is no more. Pre-deceased by her husband Ferdinando Miranda, sister Pierina Zazzarino, her brothers in-law Pasqual Pece, Domenico Miranda, Giuseppe Miranda and Gaetano Miranda, sisters in-law Antonietta Miranda and Anna Maria Miranda. Cherished mother of Giovanna (Antonio) Dirienzo and Anthony (Lindsey) Miranda. Loving Nonna of Marco, Freddie, Emily and Violet. Beloved sister of Armando (Raffaella) Altieri and Marisa Pece. Will be greatly missed by her brother in-law John Zazzarino and sisters in-law Elda Miranda, Maria (Angelo) Cunti and Margherita (Angelo) Piscone and her many nieces and nephews. We love you Mom, you will never be forgotten, 'till we meet again. Visitation will be held on Sunday Nov 3 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm at the G.H. Hogle Funeral home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, ON, with Funeral Mass to be held on Monday Nov 4 at 10am at St. Leo’s Catholic Church, 277 Royal York Rd. Etobicoke ON.
