Roy Anthony Taylor
Peacefully, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in his 79th year. Beloved husband for 57 years to Pauline. Loving father of Paul (Natasha) and Rowena (Lawrence Bourke). Dear grand-dad of Cameron, Mackenzie, and Leah. Brother of Phil (Gillian) of England and the late Hubert (Vivian). Roy will be remembered forever by family and friends as a selfless man of boundless love, patience, strength, generosity and integrity. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 - 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 782 Browns Line, Toronto, ON. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be greatly appreciated.

I heard this morning (28 Feb) of Roy's transition. I send my deepest sympathies to Pauline and the family. Roy was a wonderful man that I had the privilege to work with for a couple of decades. I recollect my last major trip with Roy with fondness where he and I roamed the City of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea in 2005. I will miss you Roy.

So sad to hear of Roy's passing. We have many warm memories of him from our time in Vancouver, and we always made it a point to visit with him and Pauline whenever we returned to the area for a visit. He was consistently affable in that low key chuckling manner of his, but he also impressed us with the precision and focus of his mind (The plane he constructed in his garage, for example!). Alzheimers is always a sad affliction, but it is doubly tragic when it affects someone of Roy's intellect. All our love and sympathy to Pauline, Paul, Rowena and the grandkids. Kathy and Bill McIntyre
