Obituary for Filippo Del Vecchio
God called Filippo Del Vecchio peacefully on March 19, 2020, at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in his 93rd year. He is now reunited with his wife Giovannina Zita and siblings that passed before him. Cherished by his children Rosa (Ivo), Donna (Antonio). Loving Nonno to Vincenzo (Maria), Filippo, Sarah-Jean, Armando (Myla), Sabrina (Robert), Danny (Patricia) and Bisnonno to Olivia, Ethan, Braeden, Sebastian, Aindreas, Jacob, Noah, Stella, Sara, Julianna and Francesco.
His memory will live forever in the hearts of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Villa Forum, which was his home for the last 2 years, for their care and compassion and also a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the Trillium Health Center, especially to Dr. A. Ginzburg and Uma.
Due to the current pandemic and restrictions being placed on group gatherings a private gathering will be held for the family. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Filippo’s life will be held at a later date. Please check back regularly for details.
