Rita Anne Rewega passed away April 23, 2020 after a year long battle with cancer.
Born in England on August 20, 1937 to Arthur and Doris Hobbs Upwood.
Married the late William (Bill) Rewega in February of 1960.
Rita lived in Mimico for sixty hears with fifty of those years in the same apartment.
Loved Sister of Ian and Lorna Laughton Upwood.
Nephew Christopher and Jenny Reyes Upwood, Great Aunt to Izzy and Ashley
Nephew Michael and Debbie Wagner Upwood, Great Aunt to Ryann, Reese, Rebecca, and Richie.
Rita will be greatly missed by her extended family in Sudbury and all her lifetime friends she has from McGinnis's, Lens Crafters, and Canadian Tire.
Her favorite cat Sophia has taken up residence with Ian and Lorna in Mississauga.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic arrangements are on hold until a future date.
