Passed away at home on Sunday, July 19, 2020 in her 61st year. Beloved daughter
of the late Stephen Andrew Knight and Joan Hillary Knight (nee Mellor). Susan
grew up in Long Branch attending Parkview Public School, James S. Bell Public
School and New Toronto Secondary School. She graduated from University of
Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts. Susan worked as an underwriter for
Manulife Insurance in Toronto.
Susan was a devoted stitcher - embroiderer. She was a member of Toronto Guild
of Stitchery and Guelph Guild of Embroidery. Susan attended classes and lectures
at The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace, Surrey UK. Susan was
a member of Jane Austen Society. She was a member of Culinary Historian of Canada.
She will be dearly missed by her lifelong friend Elizabeth, Douglas Barker and family
amongst her many devoted friends and fellow stitchers.
A private service will be held at a later date.
