Obituary for Filippo Lombardi
It is with such deep sadness to announce the passing of a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, Filippo Antonio Lombardi on Thursday August 20th 2020. Filippo, age 62, is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Clementina. A loving father of Joey, Johnny (Jenny), and Melissa (Kurtis). Proud and loving grandfather of Tony. Dear brother of Frank (Rose), Rosemary (Brian) and Mario (Darlene). Filippo will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Filippo was a very family-oriented man, he loved everyone around him, always putting others before himself. Filippo enjoyed many things, vacations with friends and family, maintaining his garden, and lots of walks with his grandson who gave him so much joy. Filippo left a piece of himself with everyone and there are so many wonderful memories to be shared.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m.at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Etobicoke, ON. Funeral mass on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Holy Angels Church, 61 Jutland Rd., Etobicoke, ON.
Burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for a donation to the War Amps.
