Obituary for Margherita De Nicola
On November 17th God called Margherita Anna De Nicola (Giannini) home unexpectedly, yet peacefully after a long battle with dementia.
Margherita was born February 13, 1932 in Roseto Valfortore, Italy. She is now reunited with her parents, Antonio and Maria Donata Giannini. She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, Antonio De Nicola for 66 beautiful years. A loving mother to her children, Anello and Maria. A loving nonna to her grandchildren Lauren and Kirstie. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, sister, many nieces and nephews, family members and friends in Canada and abroad.
Our warmest gratitude goes out to the staff of The Westbury and to her personal support worker Josephine. They became an extension to our family and provided the best care to our angel.
Her legacy will continue to live on through the people she touched in her lifetime. May she rest easily knowing she will never be forgotten.
