It is with heavy hearts and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Pietro Brugnano at the age of 84. Loving husband of Silvana (Silvia), devoted and proud father of Carmela (Lorenzo), Stefania (Patrizio) and Domenico. Proud Nonno of Giuliano, Gabriele, Amedeo and Eliana.
Pietro was born in Locri, Calabria on December 14, 1937 to Domenico Brugnano and Carmela LaRosa. He had siblings Pina, Clara, Carmelo and Isabella.
Pietro was known for spending endless hours in his garden and was always ready to share the fruits of his labours with all that asked. Pietro was especially proud of his figs and vegetables, flavourful homemade wine and sausages as well as the capocollos that were truly “speciale”! His favourite dance during family festivities was a lively tarantella. Pietro was always approachable but his hair was off limits to all as it always had to be in place and he had his special comb to make sure of it.

Although many may grieve the loss of a wonderful man, Pietro will be embraced in the loving arms of the merciful Lord. Pietro will be greatly missed and held forever in the hearts of his beloved family.
