Sandra Pearl Wice passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Runnymede Healthcare Centre in Toronto. Sandra was the loving daughter of the late Orville Wice (1980) and the late Gladys Wice (2003) and Godmother of the late Deborah More (2003). She was born December 20, 1937 in Trenton, Ontario and graduated from Trenton High School. Sandra came to Toronto as an adult and was a long-time resident of Mimico. She became a primary and special education teacher with the Toronto District School Board and taught at James S Bell, Second Street and other Etobicoke schools, retiring in June of 1993. Sandra graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in 1981. She was a long-time member of Wesley Mimico United Church and the Lakeshore Lawn Bowling Club. She also loved to go to casinos and play bingo and wintered for many years in Florida with her mother. Sandra volunteered for many years in the gift shop of St. Joseph`s Health Centre. Sandra was a welcome guest at family gatherings and always contributed interesting conversation. According to Sandra`s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will only be a private interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.
