It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Christine Ann Truchon’s passing on March 7, 2022 at the age of 62 .
Christine was the loving daughter of her predeceased parents, Teresa (née LaBine) and Ron Truchon (Mary-Lynn
surviving). She will be missed by her siblings Catherine, Carol (Dave Limoges), Steven (Jennifer Duffy) and Janet
(Marc Hamelin). Christine was the proud aunt of Daniel, Liam, Holly, Emily, Eric and Elizabeth. Christine will be
greatly missed by her close friend Dave, along with many special aunts, uncles and cousins from the Labine and
Truchon families, as well as friends.
Christine will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit. She was a proud graduate of St. Joseph’s College where
she developed her musical talent for playing the violin and where she made lifelong friends. She continued to pursue
her post secondary education at the Universities of Waterloo and Toronto. Living most of her adult life in
Toronto, Christine found rewarding work with children in the Montessori and homecare environments. She yearned
to return to her hometown of North Bay, which she will finally do.
Please join us in celebrating Christine’s life at The Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Saturday July 16,
2022 at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place at 10:00 am prior to the funeral mass. Family members are invited to
the interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery immediately following the funeral. As an expression of sympathy, the
