It is with great sadness that the family of JP (Joseph Paul) Locherer announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Thursday May 26, 2022. Loving husband and partner of Dorota “Ola” (nee Tchoryck) for over 37 years and devoted father to his two daughters, Lydia (Mario) and Anna. JP was pre-deceased by his parents, Joe and Maureen Locherer and his younger brother Joshua. JP was the older brother to Tennyson Park, Tara Martin (Andrew) and Gabrielle Locherer and uncle to Sean, Ava, Fiona and Echo. He leaves behind a very special step dad, Bob Douglas and many other extended family members and long time friends. JP’s passion was making movies. For almost 4 decades he had a successful career as a Director of Photography and Camera Operator. His many colleagues and friends in the film industry were his second family. A visitation will be held at G.H. Hogle Funeral Home , 63 Mimico Avenue on Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 6;00 - 8:00 p.m..

A Celebration of Life will be planned for late August.

In JP's honour and in lieu of flowers, the family suggests support for the people of Ukraine in any way you can.
