Maria Pia Lina Mazzucco (née Rossi), born on March 15, 1944 in Sessa Aurunca Province in Caserta, Italy, passed away at Trillium Health Partners Mississauga on Saturday May 27, 2023 at the age of 79 years.

Beloved wife of Alessandro for 58 years. Dear mother of Colomba, Filippo, Giovanna Warden (Edward), Francesca D’Souza (Adrian), Ludovico (Jessie). Loving grandmother of Anthony Warden (Rose), Lisa Warden (Luke) and Marie Mazzucco. Lovingly remembered by Jayme Marcus (Rufus).

Predeceased by her parents Lodovico and Giovanna (Zangrillo) and brother Antonio (Maria). Survived in Italy by sisters Elia (d. Armando) and Livia (Antonio).

Survived in Canada by sisters/brothers in-laws Giovanna Freda (d. Antonio), Annunziata (d. Mario), Armando (Oxana) and Lidia Ferruccio (Rino). Many nieces and nephews in Italy and Canada.

Maria Pia could not have been a better wife, mother and nonna. She always put her family before herself and they will miss her soothing demeanor and her selfless acts. She will be missed dearly and forever be in the hearts of her loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2023 from 4 - 8 p.m. at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. Funeral mass on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 782 Browns Line, Etobicoke, Ontario. Entombment Glendale Mausoleum.
